I Believe

I do believe that human beings can adapt to an unbelievable amount of mental and physical discomfort and heartache. This work stemmed form an ironic view at religion. On a technical level this work consist of wood, paint, metal, tapestry yarn, pencils, styrofoam, and bronze leaf.

Despite of all our scars and disappointments, the universe is still beautiful and magical.

  1. Your work and your comments, somehow, have an interesting divide. The work seems to explore only
pain and violence. The upside is only in your words. Am I right? When my first child was born by cesarean section I came home and painted an apple — a very beautiful, red apple with stitches all over it. For quite a
while it decorated (?) my kitchen. Yes, we can go there.
